Journal Article #3 The third journal article reviewed was Can Effective Risk management Signal Virtue-Based Leadership? The abstract discusses how it is believed the effectiveness of risk management is centered on leadership virtue and governance. In addition, the abstract discusses how risk management is a continuous process. There are numerous risks occurring every day that threaten the welfare of the world and government. The government faces these risks on a daily basis, whether it is social unrest, cyber-attacks, or natural disasters. It is important for not only the government but also other businesses to put in effective risk management tools in order to continue operating a daily business. The purpose of the journal article is to find the different factors that drive company executives’ view on the national government’s ability to manage, mitigate, and respond to global risk. It is viewed that both governance and leadership are significant factors with the government’s ability to management global risks.
